Jason held his cheroot to the side and blew a thin stream of blue smoke into the garden. The whiny stringed instruments from the ball couldn’t hide the crunch of feet on the path.
“What are you doing out here?” He demanded hoarsely. Trenton would put his huskiness down to the smoke, maybe the bastard would know it was emotion.
“I wasn’t flirting with her.”
“I know the language of the fan, My Lord. She wanted you to meet her in the gardens.”
“I’m only interested in meeting you.” Trenton D’Arcy swung Jason around by the arm. Jase allowed the cheroot to slip from his fingers and stamped it out. His hands landed on Trent’s shoulders as the hope of the match making mamas took his mouth in a torrid kiss that left them breathless.
Quickly, he recovered his resentment and pushed Trent away, his prick a hard ache inside his white satin evening breeches. “Damn you! Why do you do this?”
“Because I love you.”
He winced at the bald statement. “You should love some dainty demoiselle who can provide you with children and social grace. I can give you nothing.”
“You give what I most need, Jason.”

Title of Book: To Catch A Fox
Character Lady Eleanor Crevan
Is this the hero/heroine/villain/secondary character? Heroine
Please give a warm welcome to Lady Eleanor Crevan from To Catch A Fox by Raven McAllan today as we sit down and see what makes her tick.
Q: So tell us about yourself. What got you in the crosshairs for your author?
She said she wanted to write a book set in Regency Times, which wasn’t set in London. As my behavior made it impossible to stay in the capital, she decided to focus on me.
Q: What was it that drew you to your mate?
Mate? Ohh no, I have two, and I like to think I had no option.
Q: A little naughty fun, where was the wildest place you seduced your partner(s)?
Shall we just say everywhere? Why men think they do the seducing I have no idea… There is an expression, let a man chase you until you catch him! In my case two men.
Q: Boxers, briefs or Commando on a man?
You have flummoxed me here. Oh Raven has explained, my men are more than men so to speak, and we live in Regency times. They wear what they have to, no more, no less.
Q: If your partners wants to seduce you, what’s one sure fire trick they can play? Fill my mind.
Q: What is the one place on your partner’s body that you know will drive them wild-in and out of bed? It depends on the time and the place. Stanford loves the lobe of his ear nipped. Alexander has a ticklish spot on his thigh…
Q: What was one of the most embarrassing thing your author did to you in To Catch A Fox?
To forget to show me how to untie knots
Q: Anything else you would like to add? I’m looking forward to reading my brother’s story and that of Balgair, who is the leader of a certain group of foxes.
Thank you for joining us on ‘Meet the Character’ day here at Breathless Press Blog.
Eleanor may be a lady, but even she knows that there’s more than one way to catch a fox…
When Eleanor was told the foxes had returned to Wilderwood, she wondered and hoped it wasn’t just any old foxes. She’d spoken to no one of her week of passion with Alexander and Stanford Foxxe. The Foxxe brothers had warned her about their other lives, but Eleanor had been skeptical until that magical night where they had showed her their true selves. They shifted from human to animal; howled at the moon, and mated with her. Now six years later, the foxes were back. Had they come for her? If they had, would her changed circumstances alter all their plans? How would they cope with what she had become?

I’ve always been fascinated by the way in which women in the past, when they had no legal rights at all, but were merely the property of, first, their father, then later, their husband, managed to rearrange the world to find their own happiness.
I greatly respect women like Queen Elizabeth I of England, who ruled a powerful and influential nation, such that the known world was in awe of her, in an era when women had no rights at all. She did it with wit, intelligence, and a cunning ability to keep everyone at her beck and call.
I’m also a huge Georgette Heyer fan, and love the Regency era, so it was only to be expected that sooner or later I’d write a lesbian romance, set in the Regency time period. And of course the women work out how to be happy. It just takes time and effort.
I also write contemporary lesbian romances. The challenges are different today, but the path to true love seldom runs straight and smooth.
“Loving Lydia”, out now at Breathless Press, has been described by several reviewers as the perfect book to
“Loving Lydia” Blurb-read for people wanting to experiment with lesbian fiction. Once you taste some girl on girl action, you’ll be sure to want more. After all, who knows exactly what a lady likes, better than another woman.
Tammy’s sights are set and goals targeted. With one thing on her mind – Lydia – she will stop at nothing to satisfy every craving her body has for the seductive female, including showing up at the same gym for a chance encounter.
Lydia’s career is in her pocket. Successful, motivated, and driven, Lydia realizes she wants more out of life than just her job. Aware of Tammy’s intentions, Lydia decides to play along, at least until a cup of steaming hot coffee turns into a passionate night. Can she split her life between her career and Tammy?
Will Tammy be able to quench her thirst for Lydia with one night of hot sex, or will she be left wanting more?
“Loving Lydia” Excerpt-
Tammy’s heart clenched at the succulent picture Lydia made, her soft golden-blonde hair looking very pretty against the bright yellow shirt. She gulped.
“Sounds good.” She dragged in another deep breath. “Meet you at the coffee shop across the street in, say, half an hour then?”
“Yeah, that’ll be good.” Lydia slid her cell phone back into her pocket and increased the speed of her bike.
Tammy tried to concentrate on her own work-out, but her eyes slid over to the delicious picture her neighbor made, with just the slightest sheen of sweat on her face, her legs pumping the bike pedals.
Her face will look just like that as we make love—that glow of perspiration, the smile in her eyes. But her attention will be focused on me as I bring her to one orgasm after another. I wonder if her pussy is bare or if she has blonde curls for me to run my fingers through as I search out her clit to stroke it. Her skin is fair and soft. I bet her nipples will be pink rather than brown. But in my mouth, they’ll soon turn hard and red as I suck her closer and closer to exploding. And then I’ll—
Tammy brought her mind back to the present as cream dripped from her cunt, dampening her panties. Lucky I was planning to have a shower and change my underwear!
Tammy watched as Lydia slid off her bike, smiled at her, and wandered over to the weights to do the next part of her program. She’d first noticed Lydia a couple of months ago, and the attraction had been instant and all-consuming. Lydia was very organized and followed a routine. Unlike Lydia, Tammy didn’t have a set program. She just did whatever she felt like and right now what she wanted to do was watch Lydia, so she stayed on the bike.
Because Tammy didn’t have a set program, it was easy for her to come to the gym a couple of times a week when she knew Lydia would be there, hoping she could get to know her better.
And the more she learned about the woman, the more she ached to hold her in her arms and make love to her. And now, finally, they were going to have a coffee together. Awesome!

Excerpt: Bound by Love by April Dawn
Hearing the sound of heavy boots drawing near to the door, Chloe ran to the bed. Quickly, she covered herself with the blanket and thrust the blade into the folds. She closed her eyes as she heard the soft clicking of a key entering the lock as though it were telling the story of her doom. Her ragged breathing seemed too loud. She held her breath.
She heard someone come in, and the door locked again. She continued to be patient, her pulse went wild, but she remained still. Finally footsteps came toward her, and a hand touched her face softly.
Now or never!
Chloe slid the knife out of the covers as quick as she could. The covers fell away from her breasts, exposing them to the cold air. The peaks went rigid, and a blush covered her skin. Ignoring this fact as best she could, she thrust the tip of the blade against his throat.
Gasping as she met the eyes of the man in front of her, Chloe peered into two dark pits that were sucking her in. Her eyes left his and glanced over the rest of him. He was not what she had expected.
She thought that she would be faced with a repulsive, putrid seaman with dirty hair and a long beard, perhaps even an eye patch. She was alarmed at his clean clothes and rugged yet handsome appearance. A scar above his eye gave the impression he wasn’t someone to toy with. He was clean-shaven and appeared to be freshly scrubbed. A very masculine smell emanated from him, like salt, leather and sweat. It made her want to put her nose to his skin and breathe deep.
She chided herself inwardly for the wicked thought. Trying not to show the fear and excitement racing through her, she took a breath. She amazed herself as she held the knife steadily in her hands.
“Release me right now or I shall slice your throat, you cad. I’ll not accept your hands on me again.”
“You sure are a feisty little trollop.” He perused her with an infuriating smirk. “Put down the knife. I intend to pay when I have need of your services.”
She tried to appear confident, ignoring his words.
“Give me my clothes, take me to the dock, and let me go, or I’ll kill you!”
Her unflinching eyes stared into his. Heart pounding as though it would erupt from her chest and flee from the room, she tried to breathe steadily. Her hand shook slightly with the dread that coursed through her veins. She was not certain what scared her more, that she was at his mercy, or that she found the thought exhilarating.
He ogled her exposed breasts.
“I rather like you like this.” He smirked.
How dare he stare at her in this indecent manner! Chloe glanced down for a second to jerk the sheet up around herself, realizing her mistake at once. He grabbed her hand and twisted. The knife slipped from her grasp.
Wrenching her other hand back, he held them behind her, forcing her breasts into his chest. The friction of her nipples against the rough material of his shirt sent waves of pleasure through her. She struggled to get away, not just from the man, but from the feelings. They confused her and drew her mind from her struggles.
He pulled her up with him as he stood, the hard length of him pressing against her softness. The blanket fell away, exposing the rest of her ivory body. She strained to keep her legs together in an attempt to protect her vulnerability.
He towered over her; the top of her head came well below his chin. Stronger also, much stronger than he seemed. His lankiness was a facade, for the muscles bulged under his shirt as he held her in a vice-like grip. Dragging her with him as though she were a rag doll, he shook his head resolutely.
“You want to play a game, harlot? Good, we’ll play.”

About the Author:
Hello, my name is April Dawn. I live in California with my loving husband and a beautiful baby boy who was born in ’08. I enjoy reading, travel, and music. I have always loved to read. I have read voraciously for more than twenty years now. (OOPs, guess I’m showing my age there.) I have a love of suspense, fantasy, PI and police crime novels, and so many others, but I have a real soft spot for historical romance.
I think I wrote my first official romance scene when I was about fifteen or so. It consisted of a girl being taken aboard a pirate ship and falling madly for the captain. I wish I still had that writing, because it would be real fun to read what I wrote like back then. I started writing seriously in 2002, and finished my first novel that year which retained the title “Romance Novel” for more than five years. I hope to publish it within the next year or so. I have since finished two other novels that were lucky enough to be named something other than “Romance Novel”..
In the future, I hope to be able to bring more of my characters into the world as I work to finish and publish the other novels that I have begun. Stay tuned to meet all the pirates, gunslingers and thieves that run through my head. Hopefully you will love them as much as I do.
