“Wow! 8 quick, short stories. Most hold your attention, but there were a couple that were really just a flash and left you hanging or wanting more.
Most of the stories involve guys with guys. If that appeals to you this is definitely something you’re going to enjoy! It wasn’t a bad read, I’m just not a fan of really short seemingly unfinished stories.“

Death Day Anniversary by Lee Brazil
His squirming movements created unbearable friction, and I traced a hand down the tight denim to capture a taut buttock and hold him still against me while I thoroughly explored the wet cavern he’d granted me access to.
I drew away and stared down at him. “I wanted to do that the first moment I saw you at my resting place.”
Awakening at moonrise to find such a tempting morsel in my tomb had been a delicious surprise. His flight across the graveyard had been invigorating.
“Yeah.” His breathy agreement made me smile again

“Review: overall (I will review each story separately also but since they are flashes and very short I wont be telling about the story just what I thought of it so I don’t give away any spoilers.)

“Down those drinks and put your hands together for the lovely, luscious, cock swellingly curvaceous, our very own Red Riding Hood!”
Daniel bathed in the heat and light of the spotlight, cloak tight, hiding the leather and mesh he’d wiggled and fought his way into as the music swelled around him. The corset squeezed his chest, boots pinched his toes. It was glorious!
He shook back the hood and drank in the gasps that ran the room. Raven black hair he’d spent months growing out flowed in waves down his back. Lush red lipstick glistened on full pouting lips, his blue eyes lashed with mascara to an inch of their lives. Nothing fake for this crowd.
Stepping to the edge of the stage, he flashed the wide white smile that had brought men to their knees. He lived for this moment, the anticipation thick and heavy in the sultry air of the club. He paused, then flung open the red cloak and gloried in their sighs and spontaneous applause. Hands plunged into tight jeans and pulled out thick, fat wallets.
He struck a pose and belted out his song. Men and women flocked to him by twos and threes as he strutted and posed, and if some were a little too free with their hands, who was he to complain when Jackson’s handsome face winked at him from the bills stuffed into his delicious little outfit?

The Promise
“I’ll be back with the snow.”
The whispered words had settled in her conscience and taken root. It’s what kept her sane during the long years since, when she started to doubt her own sanity. Had it all just been a dream—a figment of her imagination—justification for what she had done?
Her lands were shrouded in heat. It shimmered on the horizon and steamed of the rooftops after the rare bouts of rain. The only passing of the seasons was the dates marked on the calendar, the Christmas Tree perched in the corner, and looking more droopy every year.
And yet, she clung to the hope of snow, to the promises given in the first flush of love, the one day it had snowed. A freak storm they had called it. A storm that had brought with it the love of her life. A night of passion and wonder was all they’d had before he had melted away with the sun.
She’d have thought him a mere figment of her imagination, but for the arrival of Gracie nine months later. Shunned by her community she waited and planned, eking a meager living for her daughter and her, always waiting for that elusive snowflake—until now.
He hovered outside the window, the flake so close, yet so fragile she was afraid to reach out and break the magic. Tears streamed down her face, as it started to snow in earnest, and the cold wrapped itself around her in a soothing embrace.
“I told you I’ll be back.”

Flash Fiction: “End of the Line” by DC Juris
Rain slashed the air, falling hard and fast in fat drops that hit my head like tiny pebbles. Might’ve been annoying if I’d had any time to give it thought. The piece of shit on the ground beneath my boot had all my attention, though. “Where is the girl?”
“You don’t know who you’re dealing with.” He spat blood onto my boot. “You’re in way over your head, copper.”
A slow grin lifted my lips and I showed my teeth in a snarl. “I’m not a cop, asshole.” I pressed my foot down on his throat and cocked the gun. “The girl?”
He coughed and sputtered, clawing at my boot. He struggled to speak.
I lifted my foot a fraction of an inch. “Beg your pardon?”
“Fifth and Maine.” He rubbed his throat. “The old coffee plant.”
I nodded and aimed the gun at his head.
“Wait! I gave you what you wanted! You can’t kill me!” He held shaking hands up to me. “No! Please, God!”
I smirked. “God won’t recognize you when I’m done.”
Flash Fiction – “Cat Tale” by DC Juris
I answered the knock against my better judgment, it being after eight at night, and I being in rather a grumpy mood. My left eyebrow arched of its own accord as I took in the scene on the other side of the threshold. Angelo, the hunk from three doors down and frequent star of my masturbatory fantasies, stood clutching a white cat in his arms against his deliciously bare chest, gazing down at it. I cleared my throat. “Can I help you?”
He looked up, eyes glittering. “You’re a vet, right?” He thrust the cat at me. “This is Midnight. I think she’s sick.”
“Midnight, hmm?” I gathered up the furry bundle and nodded him inside. “Most people name white cats Snowball or something like that.” I sat Midnight down on my kitchen table. “Hold onto her, will ya?”
“Yeah, well, I’m not most people,” he answered as he moved to the table. He cooed and whispered to her while I found my stethoscope.
“What are her symptoms?” I asked, fishing for my penlight in my bag.
“Symptoms?” He shrugged. “Nothing specific.”
I checked her out, all the while realizing she wasn’t the only one under scrutiny. Angelo seemed more interested in watching me than the results of his cat’s exam. To test my theory, I dropped my penlight on purpose, and the resulting gasp as I bent over, showing off my tight-shorts covered ass, confirmed my suspicions. I straightened. “There’s nothing wrong with your cat, as far as I can see.”
“No?” Angelo rubbed the back of his neck. “Huh.” He glanced around, then fixed me with a heated stare and a sexy smile. “Well, since I’m here, maybe you can help me out with something?”
I took a step toward him, gliding my hand along the tabletop until it made contact with his. “What’s that?”
He licked his lips. “I seem to have this…lump.” He reached down and palmed his cock through his jeans. “It crops up every time I think about you.”
I grinned and nodded. “I’m not a human doctor”–I covered his hand with my own, brushed my lips across his–”but I’m more than happy to take a look.”

Tracey shivered despite hat, gloves, and heavy pea coat. The fog was growing worse, the sun a ghostly luminescence. Fucking Kendal, saying to meet him then not showing up. In five minutes he was leaving even if it meant risking Kendal’s anger. He wouldn’t be toyed with, dammit.
Footsteps. He pushed away from the tree only to have his heart jump. A dark shape stepped out of the fog, magical in the eerie morning. Tracey gasped as the man drew near. So beautiful! A face of extreme loveliness, waves of black silken hair. And his eyes! Dark chocolate. Tracey swallowed his desire as the full lips spread in a knowing smile. “Aren’t you pretty.”
Tracey swooned at the deep timber of his voice and then the man stepped closer, a hand on the small of Tracey’s back. Bodies touched, Tracey conscious of the hard length pressing against his belly. He trembled at a warm breath in his ear, “Make love with me.”
“I beg your pardon?”
“You’ll beg for more than that.” The man brushed their lips together.
Tracey whimpered. “I’m waiting…”
“A boy,” the man dismissed Kendal. “I can bring you to the pinnacle of ecstasy until you scream for release.”
Mesmerized, bewildered, Tracey nodded, accepting the man’s kiss.
“Meet me tonight,” he was ordered.
“Yes,” he whispered and watched the man disappear back into the fog. He touched his lips. A dream? Tracey didn’t know, but he damn well would find out that night.

“Come on, Uncle John!”
“Be right there.” John caught his breath. Chasing after two young nephews through the Enchanted Forest Play Park was so not his idea of fun.
“Johnny.”
Startled, he glanced into the trees. He didn’t remember seeing that tiny house there.
A slim figure detached from the wall as he approached and the wicked grin on the man’s unique face did strange things to his heart; rich brown eyes drew him closer.
“You look tired. Drink?”
John eyed the blue bottle. What the hell. He sipped, then swallowed a mouthful of the heady nectar. Languor spread through him, “What is it?”
“Love potion. Kidding! Apricot brandy, though I’m in love.”
The man kissed him. John’s protest was swallowed by warm lips. Christ! At a tug he stumbled willingly into the house, falling on the cot with the pliant body writhing under his. His world centered on urgent moans and touches.
He broke off the mad embrace. “What…”
“You can leave,” the man motioned to the open door. “Or stay with me here.”
John gaped as he looked out the window at a forest older and darker than his, a place of magic and wonder and…elves?
He glanced at the face below him, wild and wanton, beautiful. The faerie stroked John’s hair. “Stay with me. I’d like to lose myself in you, for a time.” The imp wiggled, teasing, and John laughed and surrendered to the creature’s shattering kisses, falling with joy into his world.

“I’m here.”
Mika’s heart flooded with joy and he collapsed back against the tree. He imagined his darling’s arms cradling him and his tension and grief slipped away in a slowly exhaled breath. “I didn’t think you’d come.”
“I’ll always be here, sweetheart. What’s wrong?”
“I’m seeing Calvin.”
“Coke Bottle Calvin?”
“He wears contacts now. Has the prettiest brown eyes…” Mika turned and pressed a cheek against the weathered initials in the bark of their tree. “He loves me. And I’ve been lonely…”
“Do you love him back?”
Mika’s answer came out in a throaty whisper. “Yes, but I don’t want to hurt you. Don’t want to lose you.”
“You won’t. I’ll always be here when you need me.” Stephen’s voice turned teasing, “I’ve always suspected Calvin was a hottie under the geeky clothes.”
“Stephen!”
“Go on, honey. Be happy! Live a long life, full of laughter and friendship and love. Then when you’re an old, old man, I’ll be here to take you home.”
Mika sighed. “I’ll always love you.”
“Me too, honey.”
Mika drew a quivering breath and his tears spilled like the brush of his lover’s fingers over his face.

“I love you.”
“Hmm…”
Caleb frowned. So not the answer he wanted. Matt continued to button his fly and an ache started in Caleb’s heart.
“Is that all you have to say?”
A cool glance. “Don’t go all serious on me.”
“Right.” Caleb tucked in his shirt, shoved his hands in the pockets of his jeans. He strolled away, following the creek toward the sea. He tried not to listen for Matt’s call that never came. Tear stung his eyes but he brushed them away with a trembling hand.
Lost in dreams, it took a moment for the voice to register, soft and sensual. He hurried forward, the lovely sound a balm to his sore heart. He stopped in wonder at the edge of the lagoon. A girl sat by the water. “Hello?”
She turned a face of delicate beauty to him. Enchanted, Caleb thrilled as the mermaid held out a hand. “Shall I grant your wish?”
“Please…”
Instantly the water boiled and foamed. Two men rose from the depths, silver haired, wild eyed, wondrous. Strong arms clasped him to a muscular chest, a sleek cock slipped between silver scales and rubbed against him.
The merman behind threaded fingers through Caleb’s hair and down his chest, gripped his hips.
The one in front nipped Caleb’s lips, desire and promise in his blue eyes. “Is this what you want?”
“Yes—”
Caleb’s last breath was seized in a devastating kiss and he drowned in joy as they pulled him under water.
